Welcome to my Shop in Kielder. I will be turning all days during the holidays on my traditional pole-lathe. Come to visit and experience a bit of history still alive today. Pick up your perfect little gift to take home from your visit to stunning Kielder

Heritage Craft & Woodwork

For over a decade I have dedicated myself to creating high quality products from wood, including clocks, furniture, spoons and my biggest passion, bowls.
Fittingly, my workshop can be found within England's largest forest at Kielder in Northumberland. There, I use a traditional, foot powered pole-lathe and handmade tools to turn wooden bowls, allowing the material to guide my progress as I work. Much like the tree's growth, the process is slow, and much like nature herself, I exercise patience in each creation. The finished products are both beautiful and practical- I use mine all the time and love eating from them.
